Rosie Alice
Huntington Whiteley was born 18 April 1987. Her most well-known work is her work with
lingerie retailer Victoria's Secret, formerly being one of their brands
"Angels" as the face of Burberry's brand scent "Burberry
Body" as well as for her collaboration as a model for Marks & Spencer,
and, most recently, for her artistic collaboration with the denim-focused brand
Paige. In her
transition to acting, she played supporting roles in the film Carly Spencer in
the 2011 film Transformers: Dark of the Moon, the third installment of the
Transformers film series, and as The Splendid Angelharad in the 2015 film Mad
Max: Fury Road. Huntington-Whiteley was born in Plymouth, Devon, England
and is the daughter of Fiona (nee Jackson), who is a fitness instructor, as
well as Charles who is a chartered surveyor. She has a brother and one sister. She grew up on a farm near Tavistock,
Devon. Her
patrilineal grandfather, Wing-Commander Eric Huntington Whiteley JP, is the
nephew of George Whiteley 1st baron Marchamley and younger sibling of Sir
Herbert Huntington Whiteley 1st baronet, Eric's wife Rosie is from a Polish
Jewish family who moved to England during the 1870s. [citation needed] Rosie's paternal
grandmother, Gillian who was also from an ethnically Jewish family was the
daughter of Jacob Franks, a prominent surgeon in Sussex. She was educated at Tavistock College and
later admitted that she was bullied in school because of her double-barrelled
small breasts, and full lips.
