Aaron Jeffery

  Logie Award-winning actor from New Zealand and Australia, Aaron C. Jeffery. He is most famous for his roles as Terry Watson in Water Rats, as Alex Ryan in McLeod's Daughters, as well as Matt "Fletch" Fletcher in Wentworth. Jeffery was born in Auckland and moved to Australia as an adult. He then studied acting at NIDA. He graduated with his NIDA degree in 1993. Following that, he launched his TV career as a producer on the children's program Ship to Shore. Jeffery is best known for his performance in McLeod's Daughters as Alex Ryan. He left the show in the year 2008. He also appeared in the third season of Outrageous Fortune, a New Zealand drama. Jeffery appeared in the series Underbelly: Badness as Frank. The filming ended on the 22nd of June. The next day it was announced that Jeffery was joining the crew of Neighbours as Bradley Fox for two months. In October, it was announced that Jeffery was assigned as an Wentworth corrections officer. Bevan Lee's Between Two Worlds was also his role. In April 2021 the news broke that Jeffery had been cast in the upcoming Netflix thriller Pieces of Her, which is adapted from the Karin Slaughter novel of the same name. As a result of his role in McLeod's Daughters, Jeffery was awarded the Silver Logie for Most Popular Drama Series actor in 2004 and 2007.
