Tracy Spiridakos

Tracy Spiridakos (Canadian actress) is Tracy Spiridakos. She was the Teletoon children's comedy show Majority Rules' Becky Richards. Spiridakos was the daughter of restaurant owner George Spiridakos who both were born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She has two brothers. The family relocated to their father's home town, Skala, Greece south of Sparta just a few years after she was born, and returned to Canada in 1992. She strongly identifies with her Greek family and speaks fluent Greek. Spiridakos began acting when she was in junior high school. She later attended the Actors Training Centre of Manitoba. In 2000, she graduated Oak Park High School. Spiridakos relocated to Vancouver in 2007 to pursue acting. She got her first television role within a few weeks, a tiny role on Supernatural. She appeared on television for several more years, landing roles in Psych, The L Word, Hellcats and Bionic Woman. Spiridakos starred in the TV movie Goblin and the web series Mortal Kombat: Legacy. She also was a regular on Being Human, as Brynn McLean as the werewolf. In 2009, she won her first starring part in Majority Rules! Canada, where she played 15 year old Becky Richards. In 2011 she made her debut as a feature film in the film Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She also produced Kill for Me, a low-budget thriller written by Michael Greenspan, which starred Donal Logue, Katie Cassidy and directed by Michael Greenspan. Spiridakos was the character of Sammi in Rags (2012) The Nickelodeon original film. The character of Charlotte Matheson as a survivalist living in a dystopian future civilisation, was her lead on the NBC television show Revolution. The audition took place while she was at her pilot season in Los Angeles. Spiridakos filmed the pilot in Atlanta as well as the first season in Wilmington. For her performance on the pilot, she was nominated to win the Saturn Award for Best Actress on television. She fell short to Anna Torv of Fringe's Anna Torv. In the second season, production moved to Austin Texas.
