Tara Strong
Tara Strong began her acting career at
13 in Toronto, Canada. She had roles on TV as well as in film and musical
theatre. Her first main role was the title role in "Hello Kitty" the
animated series. After a brief time at Toronto's Second City theatre company,
she relocated to Los Angeles. Her extensive portfolio included her own sitcom
and more than 20 animated television series. Following her arrival in Hollywood
and settling in, she became involved in many TV and Film projects including
"Party of Five,"" National Lampoon's Senior Trip,"
"Sabrina the Teenage Witch" and numerous others. She has an iconic
voice-over career, which includes parts like Bubbles in "The Powerpuff
Girls," Timmy Turner in "The Fairly OddParents," Dil Pickles in
"Rugrats," Raven in "Teen Titans,""
"Batgirl," "Family Guy," "Drawn Together,"
"Ben 10,"" Melody in "The Little Mermaid 2,"
"Spirited Away,"" and many more. The voice of Miss Collins on
Nickelodeon's "Big Time Rush" and the current voice for "Harley
Quinn." She is Emmy-nominated, an Emmy-nominated, Shorty Award Winner,
Twilight Sparkle in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and is currently
playing "Unikitty". In the Hallmark Christmas movie "A Very
Merry Toy Store" she was a part of the film. She has 350,000 followers on Twitter
(@tarastrong) and has used her social media to raise several hundred thousand
dollars for children suffering from cancer and animal rescue groups in addition
to using her voice to command attention to promote her anti-bullying platform.
She lives in Los Angeles. She was married to Craig Strong, a former actor and
real-estate agent. The couple split up their separate ways in July 2019 and,
finally, they divorced in January 2022. The couple had two sons.
