Bonnie Schneider appears as a meteorologist on CNN, HLN and other platforms. On March 30, 2012, she will be the expert on TV, executive, and producer of the DIY NETWORK special, entitled THE LAST HOUSE RESISTING. Her first book EXTREME weather. Her website promoting her multi-city book tour beginning Feburary 1, 2012 in Boston, media appearances and video chat is BonnieWeather.com [[1]] In August, 2011 during coverage of Hurricane Irene, Schneider's book was featured on HLN's popular prime time show, Special Report with Vinnie Politan Prior her work on CNN that began in the summer of 2005, Schneider has also been the Weekend Meteorologist/Special Assignment Reporter for "The Ten O'Clock News" on WLVI-TV WB56 in Boston. In Boston she also offered the entertainment and lifestyle reports as the special assignment reporter three days a week. She worked at WFOR-TV as a weather forecaster on weekends prior to moving over to WB56. She worked in a variety of reporting and meteorology positions such as News 12 Long Island (a 24-hour cable television news network) as well as WXII-TV, both in Winston-Salem. While in New York City, she was a fill-in weatherman on The Saturday Early Show for CBS.
